MARCH: (Totally Unplugged Non Electrical Sounds) T.U.N.E.S. ON THE YARRA was awesome! The last 2 gigs of the series sold out. The CARUS + MJTAYLOR show was a great night to end on, with over 100 people kickin' back in cosy, candle lit, complete silence listening to totally unplugged-unamplified acoustic music. MJ was stoked to have past headliner artist, AUSTIN and violinist, INDIANA join him on stage. The trio jammed out MJ's old & new tracks giving them sounds and dimensions that had not previously been heard. CARUS had the audience singing along in a few tracks and really seemed to enjoy hurling his voice around the acoustics of the Rowing Club Bar. ROB SAWYER's set on Feb 19th was definitely one of the highlights of the TUNES series. Everyone in the room had their jaws open in amazement, transfixed with Robs incredible guitar skills and so-well written songs. At this stage there is talk of an autumn series of TUNES ON THE YARRA happening in a few months time.

FEBRUARY: The TUNES ON THE YARRA gigs have so far been a great success. The first show with Dan Sultan and MJ was played to an very chilled out audience. The venue proved to be perfect for unplugged acoustic tunes with MJ's resonant vocals and Indiana's beautiful violin easily filling the room to an appreciative audience who were so quiet it seemed they were holding their breath. Dan Sultan was awesome and both MJ and Dan claimed their performances  to be one of the best they'd ever played! The second show was equally impressive and MJ was stoked to share the bill with AUSTIN who absolutely blew the audience away. Check out Geelong songwriter AUSTIN as soon as you get the chance. The final two shows are selling fast at the Corner Box Office and both are expected to sell-out prior to the night. Extra tickets have been released for the Carus show on Feb 26th - get tickets now to avoid missing these amazing Unplugged performances from MJ, Rob Sawyer and Carus.

JANUARY: MJ will be supporting 4 of Australia's finest acoustic songwriters in an intimate venue completely unplugged with no amplification. Carus, Rob Sawyer, Dan Sultan and Austin will all take to the stage with only their guitar and their voice on 4 exclusive Sunday night shows during the month of February. Totally Unplugged Non Electrical Sounds (T.U.N.E.S.) on the Yarra.

NOVEMBER: Folk Rhythm & Life festival has become a barometer for fresh talent. This year MJ's set went down a treat, with many commenting on his performance. MJ and the team have been busy applying to perform at other festivals around the country over the coming year.
